GUSTAV ABB was born on February 23, 1886 in Berlin, Germany. He received his doctorate in 1911. From 1921 to 1925 he was Chairman of the Prussian Library. He became a Nazi in 1933. During World War II, he was given the rank of SS-Sturmbannfuhrer and he was deployed in July 1940. After the German attack on the Soviet Union he was made commissioner for the protection of libraries in the ERR.

He refused to cooperate because he did not want to join the Nazi party. In 1940, Fanck changed his mind and joined the party. He created a movie for the Nazi's to use as propaganda.
KARL FRENZEL was born on August 20, 1911. He was the commandant of Sobibor extermination camps. This was the section for the forced-labor prison workers. Karl Fenzel also led victims into the gas chambers. After World War II, Fenzel was convicted and sentenced to life for his war crimes. He served 16 years in prison, but was released early due to health issues.
MAX ILGNER helped the Nazis by giving them maps of where they might find chemicals during WWII. He was able to buildup extensive knowledge of overseas competitors and he was able to supply the government with full details of operations. As the Nazi defeat became apparent, Ilgner wanted to save himself so he took steps to safeguard himself. After a bomb struck, Ilgner claimed he could no longer work in those conditions.

She was tried and found guilty of her crimes at the concentration camp. She was publically hanged on July 4, 1946.
MARIA MANDI was born on January 10, 1912. She was an official at Auschwitz. She is believed to be directly connected to the death of over 500,000 women throughout the Holocaust. In Auschwitz she earned the nickname the Beast. She was arrested in August of 1945.She was hanged on January 24, 1948.
