Josef Mengele
Known as ‘The Angel of Death’, Dr. Josef Mengele was the chief doctor at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Second World War. He was born on March 1911 to a wealthy family, with a strict Catholic religion. Josef studied philosophy in Munich, where he encountered the racial ideology of Alfred Rosenberg. In 1931, at the age of 20, he joined the Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet), then the SA in 1933, and applied for party membership in 1937. Upon being accepted into the Nazi party, he applied for membership in the SS.

Vannevar Bush
He was born March 11, 1890, in Everette Massachusetts. Bush died June 28, 1974, Belmont Massachusetts. He was an electrical engineer and administrator who developed the Differential Analyzer and oversaw government mobilization of scientific research during World War II.

Trofim Lysenko
Trofim was born in 1898 in Karlovka Ukraine and died November 20, 1976. He was a Soviet biologist and agronomist. He was known as the “dictator” of Communistic biology during Stalin’s time in office. He did not agree with orthodox genetics but favored of “Michurinism” . After Michurin’s death in 1935, Lysenko led the movement and transformed it into an assault on orthodox genetics.
